SHEET EXTRUSION
Sherwood lndustries is a proud manufacturer of extruded sheet plastics and rubbers. Sheet extrusion is the specialized process that allows for efficient practices in the die-cutting industry.
Sheet extrusion is the process of extruding a polymer through a sheet die, manufactured to provide an easy solution for die-cutting. The rubber sheet begins the cooling process after it makes its way out of the sheet die. Blowers and fans cool the rubber sheet as it continues through a conveyor series. We begin winding the rubber sheet onto PVC cores that will eventually end up at a die-cutting warehouse. We cut your rubber sheet to the optimal width for your application and can offer a weight limit or a certain amount of feet per roll.
